On this page we'll show you how to unpack your player, getting your player from his original package to your inventory.

What kind of unpacker do you have?

  • If your cursor looks like a cursor together with an opened box when you move it over the box, you have a non-automated unpacker.
  • If your cursor looks like a hand when you move it over the box, you have an automated unpacker.

Non-automated unpacking

  1. Rez the package you've bought. (Please note you can only do this in a location where you are able to rez objects).
  2. Go with your mouse cursor over the box, and you'll notice that the cursor changes into a cursor with an opened box next to it.
  3. Click the box, and the "Object contens"-window will pop up. (See screenshot 1).
  4. At the bottom of this window you'll notice two buttons; "Copy to inventory" and "Copy and wear". For our media players you'll need to click "Copy to inventory".
  5. Your inventory window will pop up, and will show you the inventory folder in which the content of this package is placed. (See screenshot 2)

Automated unpacking

  1. Rez the package you've bought. (Please note you can only do this in a location where you are able to rez objects).
  2. Go with your mouse cursor over the box, and you'll notice that the cursor changes into a little hand.
  3. Click the box, and a blue pop-up menu will appear in the top right of your window. (See screenshot 3).
  4. You'll notice three buttons in the pop-up menu. Click the "keep"-button, and the contents of the box will be copied to your inventory.
  5. Open your inventory window, and search for a folder with the same name as the object you just unpacked.
