What's in the package?
The Light
The light comes as a copyable item.
The controllers
Your light comes with two different controllers. One of those is a HUD controller, which by default will attach to the left bottom HUD attachement point.
Besides the HUD controller, there is also an in-world controller included.
Setting up
The light
To start using your light, just rezz it in-world. That's all there is to do.
However, please keep in mind that:
- If you’re on group owned land, make sure you are wearing the right tag and you’re allowed to use scripts.
- Be sure to rezz the light in such a way that there is room enough for you to move your camera around while taking pictures.
- Please note that you can rezz several lights at once, but that Second Life only allows you to use 6 light sources simultaneously (including the sun or moon). If a light is off, it doesn't count as a light source.
The controller
Setting up your controller is as easy as setting up the light.
To start using the HUD controller, simply right-click it and select wear. It will then attach to the default HUD-location. (bottom left) To use an in-world controller, simply rezz one in-world.
The Controller
Intensity button
These allow you to select one of the preconfigured intensities. The higher the intensity, the brighter the light.
Color buttons
The color buttons allow you to select one of the 8 preset color choices.
Advanced/Basic buttons
Clicking on the advanced button will display the advanced color picker, allowing you to select a color within a range of 16 million colors. The Basic button will hide the advanced color picker again (Returning to the 8 basic colors).
Off button
The off button will turn your light off.
www button
Clicking the www button will bring up a dialog leading you to the Hermes Optical website.
