Introduction
The Hermes album chart displays the top 10 listened to Hermes albums. The chart is published weekly on the Hermes album chart website, as well as via the RSS feed and widgets.
Account page
The Hermes panel Account page contains settings that affect your entire account.
Chart settings
- In/Exclude all albums from chart - in one click you can block all albums from being included in the Hermes charts. This setting overrides albums individual settings - so if you only intend to include a single album, but block the rest then use this to block them, and edit the album to change the settings for that album.
- Default Marketplace Url/ SLurl - this setting prefills the url / SLurl field for any new albums - changing this won't affect any albums that have already been created.
Publisher Settings
- Publisher Name - this is the default prefilled setting for new albums. Existing albums will not be affected by changing this.
Edit Album page
Settings on this page are used in the album charts. Changing settings on this page will change the album in-world, and wil also affect the album's entry in the chart from the next week.
Album Info
Some of the settings in this section are used in the album chart:
- Current Album Name - this is the album name displayed in the chart listing, feeds and widgets. It will also be the name of any album objects made using this album's script.
- Cover Texture - this is the image displayed on the album chart page, as well as on Hermes vendors for the album.
- Publisher Name - this is the publisher name used on the chart page, feeds and widgets. This will automatically be filled with the name set in your account settings page.
Hermes Chart Info
- Include this album in the Hermes chart - you can use this setting to choose to remove the album from the chart - or to reinclude it. This setting will be replaced if you change the In/Exclude all albums from chart setting in the account page. If you change the setting in the account page, you can adjust this back afterwards.
- Description - this description will be included in the album chart listing page, as well as the feeds. Use this to includea description / blurb about the album to let chart readers know about your album.
- Marketplace Url / Slurl - this url will be used in the album chart listing page, feeds and widgets. You can include any URL in there, but it's intended to point to a sales location or "more infomation" page for the album, as this is waht chart readers can click to find out more. If you leave the URL blank, it will link to the album chart page.
- Album artist - this is the name of the artist performing on the album. This will be displayed alongside the album name in the chart pages, feeds and widgets. If you leave the album artist blank, no artist name will be displayed.
