Mp3 Player / Land Radio

The Hermes Mp3 Players are the next generation of Music players in Second Life. They enable you to stream Mp3 files in from the web, to listen to Internet Radio stations and a whole host of cool functions.

The Media Switch

Your player is bundled with a copiable media switch which is designed to be rezzed and used on the land on which you wish to listen to your music, the media switch is the part of the system that enables you to change the land audio stream (V important!).

Setting up

Setting up on your land

If you own the land - simply rez the Player and you should be ready to go.

Setting up on Group Land

Rez your player and a media switch, on first Rez it will be coloured Red and telling you it needs deeding. On successful deeding it will turn Black. Deed the media switch to the group that owns the land. (if you're not able to deed the item, speak to an owner or land officer and have them deed it for you)

Setting up on Other People's Land

Give a copy of the receiver to the land owner or a group officer have them deed it
